Terms of service

What you agree to by joining and using the plugins.

Who you are dealing with

OrePlugins is operated by SwansonX, Brainerd, Minnesota, United States. You can reach a human at sean@swansonx.com or in the Discord linked throughout this site.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, United States.

What you are paying for

A membership is a recurring licence to use every compiled plugin we publish, on Minecraft servers you operate. You are not buying the source code, and you are not buying ownership of the software.

Memberships renew automatically at the interval you chose, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time, yourself, from your account page — no email and no retention process.

Every version released while your membership is active is yours permanently. That entitlement survives cancellation: those versions keep running, and stay downloadable from your account. What ends with your membership is access to versions released after it ended.

What the membership covers

One membership covers one Minecraft network — all servers under your control that players move between as one service — plus a private test or development server. It covers every plugin we publish, with no per-plugin charge.

Running a genuinely separate second network needs a second membership. If your setup does not fit that description, ask rather than guess; the answer is usually yes and it costs nothing to check.

What you may not do

Do not redistribute, resell, sublicense or publish any jar, in whole or in part. Do not decompile, deobfuscate or reverse engineer it beyond what applicable law permits regardless of this clause.

Do not share your licence key. A key found in public circulation is revoked, and the membership it came from is not refunded.

Availability, prices and changes

Plugins are provided as they are. Every effort goes into keeping them working across Minecraft versions, but no specific future version of Minecraft is guaranteed to be supported.

Prices may change. An increase never applies to an existing membership without notice before the renewal it would take effect on, and you can always cancel before that renewal.

A plugin may be discontinued. If that happens you keep every version already released to you, and the download stays available for at least twelve months from the announcement.

Liability

These plugins run on your server, with your data, alongside software written by other people. Keep backups. To the fullest extent the law allows, liability for any loss arising from use of a plugin is limited to what you paid in the twelve months before the loss.

Nothing here limits liability for anything that cannot lawfully be limited.
